Savior – a person who rescues others from evil, danger, or destruction
The Old Testament viewed God Himself as the Savior “there is no other God besides Me, a just
God and a Savior” (Isaiah 45:21).
In the New Testament the word for “Savior” describes both God the Father and Jesus Christ the
Son.
