When examining a religion, you go back to the foundation, checking the founder and where they got their concept. Study the beginning of Jehovah’s witnesses; founder, Mr. Russell, deceived many. The New World Translation of the Bible is found to be in error. Check out the Greek (theos) in Matt 1:25, John 20:28, Heb. 1:8, I Tim 1:16-17 all mean supreme divinity. The organization turns to the occult, and spiritualist and that is an abomination to Jehovah. The Bible says in Eph 2:10 “for we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to good works, which God has before ordained that we should walk in them.” But they say that they are not in Christ.
Witnessing to Jehovah witnesses you show certain words, which prove that the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are One. Following words from Genesis to Revelation, showing that God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit are One. The great commission (Matt 28:19-20) shows the trinity concept. To be baptized into someone’s name therefore means to pass into new ownership.
As I was crying out to God, asking for a way to witness to my sister, who was at that time a Jehovah Witness, I heard words and I wrote down those words, then studied them. These words clearly show the unity of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. I challenge anyone to study these words for yourself. Use a good Bible dictionary and concordance. If you don’t have one, use the Bible lookup tool on all of our main page. Don’t take anyone’s word for it. The Bible always explains itself.
I have done an intense study on the above words, just click on the word to see the study.
Here are some great websites with helpful information.
Are you trying to witness to a Jehovah's Witness and running out of ideas? Are you a JW who is considering leaving but afraid of how you'll be treated by old friends? This first site can lead you to support groups, doctrinal truths, as well great tips on how to affectively discuss theology with a JW.
The second link will take you to a streaming movie that's great for JW's because it doesn't mention them at all. It shows how the leadership of the Worldwide Church of God came to the realization that they were a cult and shows how they made the difficult steps to align their beliefs with the Bible. I've found that the low band-width stream works best, even though I have DSL.
The third link is an online book that will help answer loads of questions.
