Witnessing in the Twenty-first Century
One of the last commands Jesus gave to His disciples was to go out and share His gospel (good news) with a lost and dying world (Matthew 28:19-20, Mark 16:15). He tells His followers in Acts 1:8 that they will be His witnesses to the uttermost parts of the earth.
At Thy Way Ministries we take that command very seriously. Other than obtaining salvation for yourselves, sharing it with others should be the most important thing in the life of a follower of Christ. In this section we will attempt to supply information that will be valuable to both the believer and the non-believer in their respective quests for the truth.

A Word to the Unbeliever
Just being on this website shows your curiosity. Maybe one of our friends handed you some of our printed material or you found material somewhere and decided to check out the website printed on it. Possibly, you used a web search engine that brought you to this site. Either way, you are definitely a 'seeker', and there's good news for you.
Jesus told His disciples that those who seek Him will find Him (Matthew 7:7-8, Luke 11:9-10). So, you are on the right track, and although things may seem confusing on the surface as you dig deeper things should begin to clear. Paul wrote to the Romans nearly 2000 years ago:
- For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things
that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse. - Romans 1:20
You will be able to use these witnessing tools and also the Bible studies and sermons on this website to help by giving you lots of information to process. Even more importantly though, will be the spirit within you. So, keep seeking and searching, open your mind, and listen to your spirit; it knows God because it came from Him.

A Word to the Believer
We should listen to Paul's advice to Timothy:
- Study to show yourself approved to God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word
of truth. - 2 Timothy 2:15
. . . and from the words Peter wrote:
- But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts; and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asks you a
reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear. - 1 Peter 3:15
It's not a matter of arguing over dogma or beating someone over the head with the Bible. As a believer, we must be ready when opportunity arises. We have to study so that the Holy Spirit can bring us to remembrance of those things as we need them. Use these witnessing tools, the Bible studies, and sermons to help you prepare.
