Take it

To take it is to receive it; taking possession;; to accept.  When you take it, you will
stop complaining concerning it, and acknowledge that you have it already.
Remember that in the kingdom of God, you have to believe that you have it, before
you will see it (Mark 11:22-24), which says “and Jesus answering said to them, have
faith in God.  For verily I say to you, that whosoever shall say to this mountain, be
you removed, and be you cast into the sea, and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall
believe that those things which he says shall come to pass, he shall have
whatsoever he says.  Therefore I say to you, what things so ever you desire, when
you pray, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them”.  It is a principle of
God, calling those things that be not as though they are.

The Bible tells us in Ephesians 1:3-5, “blessed be the God and Father of our Lord
Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in
Christ.  According as He has chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world,
that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love.  Having predestinated
us to the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good
pleasure of His will”.  And in Romans 8:32 it says “He (God) that spared not His own
Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all
things”?

The problem is that many are thinking that they will (in the future) receive it, but faith
is now.  God has already provided it for us.  Psalms 103 gives us good advise in
verses 1-5, which says “bless the Lord Yahweh, O my soul and all that is within me,
bless His holy name.  Bless the Lord Yahweh, O my soul, and forget not all His
benefits.  Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heal all your disease.  Who redeems
your life from destruction, Who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies.
Who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth renewed like the
eagles”.

Jesus says in Matthew 11:12-15, “and from the days of John the Baptist until now,
the kingdom of heaven suffers violence and the violent take it by force.  For all the
prophets and the law prophesied until John.  And if you will receive it, this is Elijah,
which was for to come.  He that has ears to hear, let him hear”.

People think that when you say take it by force, that you are trying to take something
from God; but God has already given it to you, and it is the thief that comes to steal,
kill and destroy, Jesus said in John 10:10, and you have to take it from the thief by
force.  As we read Ephesians chapter 6, the scriptures detail what we are to take
(verses 10-17), verses 10-12 tells us not to fight in our own power, and explains who
our fight is against, it says “finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the
power of His might.  Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand
against the wiles of the devil.  For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against
principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against
spiritual wickedness in high places”.  In verses 13-15 says, “wherefore, take to you
the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and
having done all, to stand.  Stand therefore, having your lions girt about with truth,
and having on the breastplate of righteousness.  And your feet shod with the
preparation of the gospel of peace”.  The word of God is what we fight with, Jesus
defeated the devil in the wilderness by saying “it is written”, then speaking the word
of God which contradicted what the devil was tempting Him with.  As long as we stand
on the word of God, we cannot be defeated, but the devil will try to get you to doubt
the word of God; this is the same trick he used on Eve in the garden of Eden
(Genesis 3:1-6), he got Eve to believe that God was holding something out on her,
and told her that she shall not surely die; he is still using the same tricks today.

In verses 16-18 which says, “above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith, you shall
be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.  And take the helmet of salvation,
and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.  praying always with all prayer,
and supplication in the Spirit and watching thereto with all perseverance and
supplication for all saints”.  Revelations 12:11 says “and they overcame him (the
devil) by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony, and they loved
not their lives to the death”.  We overcome by the blood of Jesus, if we stop there we
are saved, but to defeat the devil, we have to testify, in other words, speak what God
says.

We are told to “take heed” many times by Jesus, (Mark 13:23), says “but take you
heed, behold, I have foretold you all things”.  We have to live our life based on the
word of God.  In this He is warning us that false Christ, and false prophets will come,
and try to deceive many.  We have to remember what He said in John 8:31-32 “if you
continue in My word, then are you My disciple indeed.  And you shall know the truth,
and the truth shall make you free”.  It is the word of God that we hang on to that
makes us free.
In Mark 13:33-37, we are told to “take you heed, watch and pray, for you know not
when the time is.  For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his
house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and
commanded the porter to watch.  Watch you therefore, for you know not when the
master of the house, comes, at even, or at midnight, or at the cock crowing, or in the
morning.  Less coming suddenly he find you sleeping.  And what I say to you I say to
all, watch”.

We are told to take heed how we hear (Luke 8:18), “take heed therefore how you
hear, for whosoever has, to him shall be given, and whosoever has not, from him
shall be taken even that which he seems to have”.  This He said and He was
explaining the parable of the sower, sowing seed on different ground.

We are told to take heed how we let our light shine (Luke 11:33-36) “no man, when
he has lighted a candle, puts it in a secret place, neither under a bushel, but on a
candlestick, that they which comes in may see the light.  The light of the body is the
eye, therefore when your eye is single, your whole body also is full of light, but when
your eye is evil, your body also is full of darkness.  Take heed, therefore that the
light which is in you be not darkness.  If your whole body therefore be full of light,
having no part dark, the whole shall be full of light, as when the bright shining of a
candle does give light”.

Paul also gives warning to take heed how we build (I Corinthians 3:10-15),
“according to the grace of God which is given to me, as a wise master builder, I have
laid the foundation, and another builds thereon, but let every man take heed how he
builds thereupon.  For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is
Jesus Christ.  Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious
stones, wood, hay, stubble.  Every man’s work shall be made manifest; for the day
shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire, and the fire shall try every man’s
work of what sort it is.  if any man’s work abide which he has built thereupon, he shall
receive a reward.  If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss, but he
himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire”.

Paul warns Timothy in (I Timothy 4:12-16) how he should carry himself, it says “let no
man despise your youth, but be you an example of the believers, in word, in
conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.  Till I come, give attendance to
reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.  Neglect not the gift that is in you, which was
given you by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.  Meditate
upon these things, give yourself wholly to them, that your profiting may appear to all.
Take heed to yourself, and to the doctrine, continue in them; for in doing this you
shall both save yourself, and them that hear you”.

Revelation 22:17 says “and the Spirit and the bride say, come, and let him that hears
say, come, and let him that is athirst come, and whosoever will, let him take the water
of life freely”.  This echoes Isaiah 55:1
