Our Creative Power

We are to create here on earth what has already been created in heaven.  Jesus
says in Matthew 16:18-19 “and I say also to you, that you are Peter, and upon
this rock, I will build My church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
And I will give to you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatsoever you
shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatsoever you shall loose on
earth shall be loosed in heaven”.  Also in Matthew 18:18-19 Jesus says “verily I
say to you, whatsoever you shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and
whatsoever you shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.  Again I say to
you, that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall
ask, it shall be done for them of My Father which is in heaven”.

God Himself teaches us in Genesis chapter one.  Over and over the Bible says
“and God said… and God saw”.  Then in verse 26-28 we learn that we are made
in the image and likeness of God.  God gave us dominion over this earth “and
God said, let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness, and let them have
dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle,
and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.
So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him, male
and female created He them.  And God blessed them, and God said to them, be
fruitful, and multiply; and replenish the earth, and subdue it; and have dominion
over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing
that moves upon the earth”.

David ask a good question of God in Psalms 8:3-6 “when I consider Your
heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have
ordained.  What is man, that You are mindful of him?  and the son of man, that
You visit him?  For You have made him a little lower than Elohim, and have
crowned him with glory and honor.  You made him to have dominion over the
works of Your hands.  You have put all things under his feet”.

The apostle Paul tells us that God has freely given us all things (Romans 8:32)
“He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not
with Him also freely give us all things”?  Also in Ephesians 1:3 the apostle Paul
says “blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed
us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ”.  Notice that God gives
us these things in heavenly places in Christ.

Jesus teaches us to pray what many people call the Lord’s prayer (Matthew 6:9-
13) “after this manner therefore pray you; Our Father which art in heaven;
Hallowed be Your name.  Your kingdom come.   Your will be done in earth, as it is
in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread.  And forgive us our debts, as we
forgive our debtors.  And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil
one.  For Yours is the kingdom and the power, and the glory forever. Amen”.

Job 22:25-28 says “yea, the Almighty shall be your defense, and you shall have
plenty of silver.  For then shall you have your delight in the Almighty, and shall lift
up your face to God.  You shall make your prayer to Him, and He shall hear you,
and you shall pay your vows.  You shall also decree a thing, and it shall be
established to you, and the light shall shine upon your ways”.

Romans 10:6-11 says “but the righteousness which is of faith speaks on this
wise.  Say not in your heart, who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring
Christ down from above).  Or, who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring
up Christ again from the dead).  But what says it?  The word is near you, even in
your mouth, and in your heart that is, the word of faith, which we preach.  That if
you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart
that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved.  For with the heart
man believes to righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made to
salvation.  For the scripture says, whosoever believes on Him shall not be
ashamed”.

The psalmist in Psalms 116:5-10a says “gracious is the Lord Yahweh, and
righteous; yea, our God is merciful.  The Lord Yahweh preserves the simple.  I
was brought low, and He helped me.  Return to your rest, O my soul; for the Lord
Yahweh has dealt bountifully with you.  For You have delivered my soul from
death, my eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.  I will walk before the Lord
Yahweh in the land of the living.  I believed, therefore have I spoken”.

Speaking is the action of faith (II Corinthians 4:13) which says “we having the
same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I
spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak”.

Just like God, when we believe and speak, things happen. “Jesus tells us to have
faith in God, the God kind of faith.  For verily I say to you, that whosoever shall
say to this mountain, be you removed, and be you cast into the sea, and shall not
doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he says shall come to
pass, he shall have whatsoever he says.  Therefore I say to you, what things so
ever you desire, when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you shall
have them” (Mark 11:22-24).

In Matthew 12:33-37 Jesus says “either make the tree good, and its fruit good; or
else make the tree corrupt, and its fruit corrupt; for the tree is known by its fruit.
O generation of vipers, how can you being evil, speak good things?  For out of
the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.  A good man out of the good
treasure of the heart brings forth good things; and an evil man out of the treasure
brings forth evil things.  But, I say to you, that every idle word that men shall
speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.  For by your words
you shall be justified, and by your words you shall be condemned”.  We are
creating things, by our words, because we are made in the image and likeness of
God.

Proverbs 4 gives us a major key, verses 20-24 says “My son, attend to my words,
incline your ear to my sayings.  Let them not depart from your eyes; keep them in
the midst of your heart.  For they are life to those that find them, and health to all
their flesh.  Keep your heart with all diligence for out of it are the issues of life.
Put away from you a forward mouth, and perverse lips put far from you”.
