Let the Redeemed of the LORD, Say So
The Bible says in Joel 3:10 “let the weak, say I am strong”. Psalms 82:6-8 says “I have
said, you are gods, and all of you are children of the Most High. But you shall die like
men, and fall like one of the princes. Arise o god, judge the earth, for you shall inherit
all nations”. Remember God made us in His image, He spoke and things became, so
as we follow His guidance, we can do it to. Jesus said “Verily, verily, I say to you, he
that believes on Me, the works that I do shall he do also, and greater works than these
shall he do because I go to My Father” (John 14:12).
Deuteronomy 28:15-61 list all the curses that we are redeemed from, so when sickness
comes, what do you say? Let us say we are redeemed from sickness and diseases,
poverty, stress etc. It is a mountain of adversity in your life, therefore you have to
speak to it to leave. This is what it means to resisting the devil. When you accept it as
God’s will, you make God a liar. III John 2 says “beloved, I wish above all that you may
prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers”. Many people think that God
makes them sick to teach them something. How can you think that a loving Father
could put sickness on you to teach you something? Would you do that to your loved
ones? Isaiah prophecy that the Messiah would bear our sin and sorrows, and by His
stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:4-5), and when Jesus walked on the earth, He healed
them all (Luke 6:19). His followers are supposed to “lay hands on the sick and they
shall be healed”
(Mark 16:17-18). The Bible says “if there is any sick among you, let him call for the
elders” (James 5:14-15). The world says that everybody gets sick and there are so
many medicines out there, but if people think it is the will of God to teach them
something and then take medicine to try to get better, wouldn’t they be going against
God’s will. The world says everybody has to get sick, or else how can they die, but let
Moses be our example. He was 120 years old and his eyes was not dim, and he
walked up a mountain. Even though he didn’t go into the promise land on earth, he is
in glory.
The same thing applies to any and every other mountain of adversity that comes along
in the believers life. Speak to that mountain and say that you are redeemed from it.
Remember you have to say it and believe in your heart and doubt not, before it will
come to pass (Matthew 21:21-22, Mark 11:23-24).
God changed the name of Abram to Abraham so that he would say what God said
about him. God told Abram that he would be the father of many nations, however
Abram wavered and it was not until his name was changed that he said the same thing,
you see Abraham means “the father of many nations”. So every time he said his name,
he was speaking what God said and God was able to perform it. God said “His word
would not return void”. Standing on the word of God means speaking His word about
you life with conviction and not doubting, regardless of what comes your way. “Believe
only” like Jesus told Jairus (Mark 5:36) “Be not afraid, only believe”. Speak out the
vision that God gave you, the Bible says “I believe therefore I speak” (II Corinthians 4:
13). We sometimes bring sickness on our selves, but we can cry to the Lord and He
will heal us as it says in Psalms 107:17-20.
The Bible says that the rain falls on the just and the unjust, however the just are
brought out of all troubles (Proverbs 12:13) says “the wicked is snared by the
transgression of his lips, but the just shall come out of trouble”. Remember “a man’s
belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth, and with the increase of his lips shall
he be filled. Death and life are in the power of the tongue and they that love it shall eat
the fruit thereof” (Proverbs 18:20-21).
What are you saying?
