Kingdom Principles
Faith is a spiritual law. Faith is acting on the Word of God. Take a look at the faith
hall of fame (Hebrews 11:7-11, 17-31). All of these acted on the Word of God, even
when to others it didn’t make sense. Come to God on the basis of God’s provision,
not on the basis of your need. Remember as Hebrews 11:6 says “without faith it is
impossible to please Him, for he that comes to God must believe that He is, and that
He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. In Hebrew 4:16 says “let us
therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find
grace to help in time of need. Lets take a look at what boldly means, out-spoken,
with frankness, with assurance, with confidence. As the Bible tells us in I John 5:14-
15, when we ask anything according to His will, He hears us, and we know we have
it. “Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts
sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us
hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering: (for He is faithful that
promised)” (Heb 10:22-23). Remembering that we have a great high priest, that is
passed into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.
(Hebrews 4:14)
Releasing faith: speak faith filled words. If you want faith for a thing, you have to
hear the Word on it. The Bible says in Romans 10:17 “so faith comes by hearing
and hearing the Word of God. Just as Jesus defeated the devil the wilderness, by
saying “it is written” and then speaking God’s words about that issue (Luke 4:1-14),
so if we follow this we will also defeat the devil in our lives. Speak what you have
heard the Father and Jesus speak. Let us take a look at the woman with the issue
of blood. It was her faith (her confession) that made her whole. (Matthew 9:20-22).
She believed and acted on her belief. Malachi 4:2 says “but to you that fear My
name shall the Sun of righteousness (the Messiah) arise with healing in His wings
(hem of His garment). Everything that God says you are, you have or you can do,
have to be received by faith. When anyone is told that they are in the will of
someone, they go to what is called the reading of the will. Well, the Bible is the will
of God, Jesus died to put it into effect. We must read, meditate, and understand
what we have been given, in order to get it. As we look at the account of Jairus in
Mark 5:22-42, after his statement of faith, he had to be silent when everything
looked hopeless, to avoid talking what he saw. Remembering Zechariah, was made
dumb, so he could not speak against, what God said would happen, until the baby
(John the Baptist) was born. We see as he waited for the woman with the issue of
blood to get healed and testify, one came from his house to tell him that his
daughter was dead. Jesus immediately told him to fear not, only believe. Jesus tells
us in Mark 11:22-26, when you pray, believe that you have received it and you shall
have it. Jesus said to say to the problem, what the Word says about it, not talk
about what exists. Remembering that as II Corinthians 4:18 says “while we look not
at the things which are seen (natural), but at the things which are not seen
(spiritual), for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not
seen are eternal.” Remember, God calls those things that be not as though they
were (Roman 4:17). Kingdom principles speaks things to effect a change of things.
God has already made provisions for you to be whole. He sent Jesus, who died for
us to be reconciled to God. (reconciled means – back to the original state, how we
were before Adam’s fall.
When Adam fell he gave dominion over to satan, but thank God, Jesus’ death burial
and resurrection has restored it. Jesus tells us in Luke 10:19 “behold, I give to you
power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and
nothing shall by any means hurt you.” We have dominion over the fish of the sea
and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle and over the earth and over every
creeping thing that creeps upon the earth” (Genesis 1:26). God talks to us in
Psalms 82:1-7, in verse 8 He says “Arise, o, god, judge the earth: for you shall
inherit all nations.” Remember, we are made in the image and likeness of God.
Ephesians 5:1 says “be you therefore followers of God as dear children:” Being a
follower means – being an imitator of God.
