How Do You See Yourself?

Moses was brought up in the house of Pharoah  and after finding out who he was, he
tried to bring free the Israelites, but when he tried in his own power, he killed an
Egyptian and fled Egypt.  Yet God called him. (Ex 3:10-14) then turn to (Duet 34:10;
Jose 1:5) and see how God saw him.

The Israelites who spied out the promise land, 10 out of the 12 came back with an evil
report (Num 13:1-3, 31-33).  Now, note what happened to the people because of the
evil report of the 10 spies.  All of them and everyone 20 years old and up died in the
wilderness. (Num 14:28-35).

Gideon was afraid (Judge 6:15-16) then turn to Judges 7:13-21 and see that he
became that mighty man of valor as God said.

Peter was afraid when he denies Jesus 3 times, but God used him on the day of
Pentecost. (Acts 2:1-8,14) in fact all of the disciples ran and hid when Jesus was taken,
but the Bible said they turned the world upside down, after the resurrection.

If you think of yourself in any way other than what the Bible says, you are in the flesh
(the natural) and you are contrary to  (against) God.

The Bible says:

We are the righteousness of God in Christ (I Cor 5:21, Rom 3:22, 10:3-10).
But people say they are unworthy.

We are healed (Isa 5:4-5, II Pet 2:24)

We are justified (just as if we had never sinned). (Rom 3:26-28, 5:1).
But people think of themselves as sinners.

We are blessed (Eph 1:3, Rom 8:29-39).

We are delivered from sin (Rom 6:7-14, 8:1-2) but people think of themselves as
sinners.

We can do all things thr Christ (Phil 4:13).  The key is staying in Christ (in the Word.).

Remember as a man thinks in his heart, so is he. (Prov 23:7).

When we submit to God, He will exalt you (Ps 37:3-7; I Pet 5:6-7).  Most people try to do
things in there own power, but the battle is not ours, it’s the Lord’s (Phil 1:6) we must
die to self and let God do what He has planned for our life.
