Faith Works by Love

Matthews 22:37-40 God doesn’t command us to love Him with all our heart,
soul, mind and strength because He is lacking love and lonely, but because
He knows that love is the key to the kingdom (John 13:34-35) you see the
world will know we are of God if we love one another.  In I Corinthians 13:1-8
shows us that without love we profit nothing.

God has showed His love for us (John 3:16-21) God loves us so much, He
refused to see all of mankind condemned.  Jesus said in John 12:24 “except a
corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abides alone, but if it die, it brings
forth much fruit.  In Matthew 13:37-38 Jesus said “He that sows the good seed
is the Son of Man.  The field is the world, the good seed are the children of
the kingdom, but the tares are the children of the wicked one.”  God sowed
Jesus to get all of mankind back to Himself.  That’s love.  In John 17:23 it says
“I in them, and You in Me, that they may be made perfect in one, and that the
world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them, as You have
loved Me.”  You see when the Father sees us, He sees us through Jesus
(Ephesians 4:13-20).

In Ephesians 3:13-20 we are to be rooted and grounded in love, which allows
us to be able to comprehend the breath, length, depth and height of God,
being filled with the fullness of God.  Even satan knows that every thing
hinges on love, so he brings people into your life to get you off the love walk,
and get you into strife.  Remember where strife is there is confusion and every
evil thing (Galatians 5:19-21, James 3:14-16, II Timothy 2:20-26).  Jesus tells
us in John 15:7-12 to remain in His love and bear much fruit.  We overcome
evil with good.

The love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit (Romans 5:5)
the love of God is agape love, unconditional love.  We have to stir up this love
in our everyday lives.  Allow the love of God to flow through us, and not count
on our own feelings.

Remember the Bible tells us in Hebrews 11:6 “but without faith, it is impossible
to please Him, for he that comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is
a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.”  but because faith works by love,
we can’t please God unless we walk in love.
