Establishing Gods Words upon Earth

As I was going to pick up my grandson from school yesterday and the traffic was
heavy, I picked up God’s creative power by Charles Capps, and as I was reading
and confessing the daily capsules; I came to “The Word of God is forever settled
in heaven, therefore, I establish His word upon this earth” (Psalms 119:89).  As I
was meditating on this verse, the Spirit said that “establishing God’s word, is
coming into agreement with His word”.

Proverbs 4:20-22 says “My son, attend to my words, incline your ear to my
sayings.  Let them not depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your
heart.  For they are life to those that find them, and health to all their flesh”.
However many people don’t pay any attention to what they are saying; and
wonder why their life is held in limbo.  People often repeat what the devil says,
but Jesus said “therefore take no thought, saying” (Matthew 6:31).  By saying
what the devil says, you are establishing the words of the enemy.  You see as
you say it, you have taken it; because the principle of God says “you can have
what you say, if you doubt not” (Mark 11:23).

Psalms 68:11 says “the Lord Yahweh gave the word; great was the company of
those that published it”.  As we begin to establish God’s words on earth, by
proclaiming what God says, we are releasing the power of God.  Remember
Isaiah 55:11 says “so shall My word be that goes forth out of My mouth, it shall
not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall
prosper in the thing whereto I sent it”.  You return His word to Him by speaking it.

Jesus said “whatsoever I speak, therefore, even as the Father said to Me, so I
speak” (John 12:50).  He also said that “when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He
will guide you into all truth; for He shall not speak of Himself, but whatsoever, He
shall hear, that shall He speak” (John 16:13).  It will take some practice, but as we
begin to speak the word of God which Jesus said is “Spirit and Life” into our
situations we will see things change.

Romans 10:16  says “but they have not all obeyed the gospel, for Isaiah says,
Lord, who has believed our report” as quoted in Isaiah 53:1.  Faith speaks what it
believes (II Corinthians 4:13) “We have the same spirit of faith, according as it is
written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore
speak”.

The Bible says “by two or three witnesses, let a matter be established”
(Deuteronomy 19:15; Matthew 18:16).  Jesus shows us the importance of the
established word in Matthew 18:19 which says “again I say to you, that if two of
you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done
for them of My Father which is in heaven”.

Let’s look at Manoah and his wife; Samson’s parents; Judges chapter 13 reveals
Manoah’s wife was barren, “and the angel of the Lord appeared to her and said
to her, behold now, you are barren, and bear not; but you, shall conceive, and
bear a son.  Now, therefore beware, I pray you, and drink not wine nor strong
drink, and eat not any unclean thing.  For, lo; you shall conceive, and bear a
son; and no razor shall come on his head; for the child shall be a Nazarite to
God, from the womb, and he shall begin to deliver Israel out of the hand of the
Philistines” verses 3-5.

She tells her husband what the angel of the Lord said to her; and Manoah
entreated the Lord Yahweh, and said, O my Lord, let the man of God which You
did send come again to us, and teach us what we shall do to the child that shall
be born.  And God hearkened to the voice of Manoah; and the angel of God
came again to the woman as she sat in the field; but Manoah her husband was
not with her.  And the woman made haste, and ran, and told her husband, and
said to him.  behold, the man has appeared to me, that came to me the other
day.  And Manoah arose, and went after his wife, and came to the man, and said
to him, are you the man that spoke to the woman?  And he said, I am.  And
Manoah said, Now let your words come to pass.  How shall we order the child,
and how shall we do to him?” verses 8-12.

Manoah and his wife believed the word and came in agreement with it, by saying
“let your words come to pass”.  In verse 24 it says “and the woman bare a son,
and called his name Samson, and the child grew, and the Lord Yahweh blessed
him”.  They believed, they agreed and the word came to pass.

Now let’s look at Zechariah; in Luke chapter 1, Zechariah and Elizabeth, they
were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments, and
ordinances of the Lord blameless.  And they had no child, because that Elizabeth
was barren, and they were now well stricken in years.  And it came to pass, that
while he executed the priest’s office before God, in the order of his course.
According to the custom of the priest’s office, his lot was to burn incense when he
went into the temple of the Lord.  And there appeared to him an angel of the
Lord standing on the right side of the altar of incense.  And when Zechariah saw
him, he was troubled, and fear fell upon him.  but the angel said to him, fear not,
Zechariah; for your prayer is heard, and your wife Elizabeth shall bear you a son,
and you shall call his name John.  And you shall have joy and gladness; and
many shall rejoice at his birth.  For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord and
shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Spirit,
even from his mother’s womb. (verses 5-14).  But Zechariah didn’t believe it. “and
Zechariah said to the angel, whereby shall I know this?  For I am an old man, and
my wife well stricken in years.  And the angel answered said to him, I am Gabriel,
that stand in the presence of God and am sent to speak to you; and to show you
these glad tidings.  And, behold, you shall be dumb, and not able to speak, until
the day that these things shall be performed, because you believe not my words,
which shall be fulfilled in their season” (verses 18-20).  Zechariah was dumb until
John the Baptist was born.

Now let’s look at Mary, the mother of Jesus; Luke 1:26-38 says “the angel Gabriel
was sent from God to a city of Galilee, names Nazareth.  To a virgin espoused to
a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin’s name
was Mary.  And the angel came in to her, and said, Hail, you that are highly
favored, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women.  And when she saw
him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of
salutation this should be.  And the angel said to her, fear not, Mary; for you have
found favor with God.  And, behold, you shall conceive in your womb, and bring
forth a son, and shall call His name Jesus.  He shall be great, and shall be called
the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God shall give to Him the throne of His
father David.  And He shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of His
kingdom there shall be no end.  Then said Mary to the angel, how shall this be,
seeing I know not a man?  And the angel answered and said to her, the Holy
Spirit shall come upon you, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow you;
therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of you shall be called the Son
of God.  And, behold, your cousin Elizabeth, she has also conceived a son in her
old age; and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren.  For with
God nothing shall be impossible.  And Mary said, behold the handmaid of the
Lord; be it to me according to your word.  And the angel departed from her”.

The early church believed that the Scripture were the true word of God and they
acted upon it.  The book of Acts reveals “by the hands of the apostles were many
signs and wonders worked among the people; and they were all with one accord”
(Acts 5:12).  The early church came in agreements with the word of God,
however today’s church analyses the scriptures through their fleshly minds, and
wonder why it doesn’t seem to work.

When we agree with God’s words, we are establishing His word on the earth as
we speak it.  Remember that Psalms 107:2 says “let the redeemed of the Lord
Yahweh say so, whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy”.

Job says “Yea, the Almighty shall be your de-fence, and you shall have plenty of
silver.  For then shall you have your delight in the Almighty, and shall lift up your
face to God.  You shall make your prayer to Him, and He shall hear you, and you
shall pay your vows.  You shall also decree a thing, and it shall be established to
you, and the light shall shine upon your ways” (Job 22:25-28).

Moses prayed “O satisfy us early with Your mercy, that we may rejoice and be
glad all our days.  Make us glad according to the days wherein have afflicted us,
and the years wherein we have seen evil.  Let Your work appear to Your
servants, and Your glory to their children.  And let the beauty of the Lord Yahweh
our God be upon us; and establish You the work of our hands upon us, yea, the
work of our hands establish You it” (Psalms 90:14-17).  Proverbs 16:3 says
“commit your works to the Lord Yahweh, and your thoughts shall be established”.

Let us be like the early church, believing and acting upon the word of God.  For
in doing so we will release the ability of God within our lives by the words of our
mouth.
